For parents & carers

You want to know it's safe. It is.

Making this decision on behalf of your young person is a big one. Here's what we do to make sure the programme is safe, structured and genuinely supportive.

Safe placements

Every workplace is risk-assessed. Every intern has a named job coach on-site.

Real relationships

You'll always have a named contact at Aspirations. No call centres, no queues.

Genuine outcomes

82% of our interns move into paid work. Where the fit isn't right, we rematch.

Your questions, answered.

Is this a safe environment for my young person?+

Yes. Every placement is risk-assessed and every intern has a named job coach who is with them on-site. We stay in close contact with families throughout.

Does my young person need an EHCP?+

Yes — the programme is designed for young people aged 18–24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

Will they be paid?+

The internship is a training placement, not paid work. But the aim is a real paid job at the end — and every intern from our first cohort achieved that.

What if it doesn't work out?+

We rematch. Nobody is 'off the programme' because a placement wasn't quite the right fit — we find a better one.

How do I actually get in touch?+
