From supported internship to paid employment
Aspirations Managing Director Clair Dawson joined Rt Hon Alan Milburn, employers and young people for an ITV News discussion exploring some of the barriers neurodivergent young people can face when entering and succeeding in the workplace.
Former Aspirations interns Jake and Callum also shared their experiences. Young people who began their journey through our supported internship programme have progressed into full-time paid employment — demonstrating what can happen when the right support meets an inclusive employer and genuine opportunity.
